Ok, this is brilliant. If you travel lots and give presentations then this is for you… tell em Glenn sent you will ya!! Big screen environment for the mobile environment… WOW.. thanks to the gang at MIR for this video.. awesome stuff gang! Imagine this also… using your mobile (like a smartphone of an iPod touch) you can project a video, even a full length movie) onto the wall.. WOW!!! who needs a projection TV??

An innovative Indoor positioning location system is being designed by Nokia (Research). Via way of the way cool Legends promotion, I was notified of some cool research being conducted by the Nokia Research arm – indoor positioning.
Vodafone Releases The New Blackberry Storm

An interesting device from Blackberry incorporating unique functionality enabling carriers to target a different crowd that is associated with the traditional Blackberry devices (ie. the business user). This is what Vodafone says… “BlackBerry Storm retains the full functionality and security features of the BlackBerry platform but is also ideal for avid Facebook, MySpace and YouTube users, while Flickr fans will love the ease and speed of directly uploading their pictures seconds after taking them.” Detailed info here
Geosage Releases New Image Fusion and Pan-Sharpening Software

From Down-under, Geosage has just today announced their latest Image Fusion and Pan-Sharpening Software – DOS-based HighView (Version 3.0).
From the company… “This latest version is specifically designed to rapidly process a large volume of the recent generation of high-resolution satellite imagery (QuickBird and IKONOS) and the future GeoEye-1 and WorldView-2 imagery.”
Anyone with QuickBird and IKONOS imagery in GeoTIFF format directly from DigitalGlobe and GeoEye data vendors is invited to evaluate the whole range of image pan-sharpening methods and enhancement options included in the software.

iPhone 3g aka. the iPhone 2 was unveiled this week by Steve Jobs at the “Apple lovefest”- iPhone 2.0 software update for existing users is coming soon. Some of the features sported by this popular device include:

• additional language support
• enhanced email handling
• MobileMe for managing your email, calendar, contacts etc…
• 3.5 inch display
• 8GB or 16GB flash drive
• WiFi and Bluetooth
• 2 megapixel camera with photo geotagging (not sure what that means or how it will work)
